The Cincinnati Bengals added offensive tackle Willie Anderson and wide receiver Isaac Curtis to the team’s Ring of Honor in 2022 in Week 4 on Thursday Night Football last week.
Fans voted and now Willie Anderson and Isaac Curtis were welcomed as the fifth and sixth members of the Bengals Ring of Honor.
On September 29th at halftime vs the Dolphins, they were honored with a special induction ceremony with their family members present.
After being announced as a 2022 Ring of Honor inductee, Anderson expressed his gratitude to Who Dey Nation.
“It’s an honor. I thank the fans for remembering guys like me and Isaac [Curtis]. I can’t think of a more passionate fan base,” Anderson said.
Anderson was drafted No. 10 overall by the Bengals in the 1996 NFL Draft. Over his career, Anderson started 184 of the 195 games he appeared in.
He spent 12 of his 13 seasons with the Bengals. Anderson joined the Baltimore Ravens for the 2008 season, which turned out to be his final year in the NFL.
By the time he retired from the game, Anderson was a three-time All-Pro selection and was voted to the Pro Bowl four times.
Curtis was a career-long Bengal, spending all 12 seasons in Cincinnati. The California native was drafted in 1973 by the Bengals with the No. 15 overall pick.
Over the course of 167 career games, Curtis hauled in 416 receptions for 7,101 yards and 53 touchdowns. Like his fellow 2022 Ring of Honor inductee, Curtis was a four-time Pro Bowler.
