First, all Black Brothas aren’t niggas and never can be niggas, period! Black Brothas are either Kings, Chiefs or Princes, period! Also, Warriors and Saviors!
Jehovah created the Original Blackman a King, Chief and Ruler, and a Muslim perfectly created in God’s image. Therefore, the Black Brotha can never be a nigga! To call each other a nigga is a disrespect to the true essence of what and who a Black Brotha is and who Black men are as a Collective!
Brothas who call themselves nigga are disrespecting themselves, because the n-word has forever been a disrespect to God and all Black Brothas and men since the Creation of the Original Blackman and Woman!
All who Believe of Jehovah, God Most High, know the word nigga isn’t found in any religious text or the Holy Bible or Holy Quran! The White race, Europeans, used the word to disrespect Blacks, period, throughout history, which included women and kids, calling them n—er!
Therefore, today or any day, to call each other nigga is a foul disrespect! The word nigga has forever meant a foul, ignorant, low life, untrustworthy, immoral, self-centered, dumb, uneducated Black person in the eyes of all races on earth!
When Blacks, African Americans use the word nigga, they act ignorant and foul towards each other and those around them, picking up those character traits of that word’s origins in meaning!
There’s also a King Chief named nigga; those traits never were a part of his original creation or character! He, in his original creation was never any of the above definitions of a Brotha!
He was and is loyal, trustworthy, honest, peaceful, unconfused, educated and respectful! Being there’s only one real nigga in creation, for any other Black Brotha or Blackman to use that name is out of the true character and essence of who that person or individual truly is!
God created us perfectly in His image, being the main reason why to call each other the n-word shouldn’t be done by any of us! May God’s Peace and Blessings be upon all of us who believe of God, Amen!

Editor’s note: I find myself caught between two very important worlds when considering the n-word – who can argue with Oba’s claim?! Many of the imprisoned freedom fighters, elders and leaders in the Prisoner Human Rights Movement, inside and out, detest this word and will not abide by it. So, suffice it to say I was surprised when I heard one of the young freedom fighters in the same movement use the word in his music.
But it was through him that I was given the opportunity to hear better, more deeply and I came to know another aspect of Tupac, his impact on the youth and the necessity of the youth finding their own language and expression in this fight for true freedom. It is always my intention to consider a broader dialogue on any issue and I wonder where we also might consider Tupac Shakur’s reclaiming of the word N.I.G.G.A. (Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished) and how our growing revolutionary youth will reshape and reclaim the world around them as they build new ways of engaging, agitating and empowering. Peace.
