Westchester County to Host Job Fair for the Formerly Incarcerated and Justice-Impacted – Nov. 30

The Westchester County Office of Economic Development (OED) today announced it has partnered with ConConnect, a platform connecting justice-impacted people with service providers and employers in real-time through technology and a graduate of the Element 46 startup accelerator, to host a job fair for the formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted on November 30 at Yonkers Riverfront Library, which is located at 1 Larkin Circle in Yonkers. Westchester County Executive George Latimer said: “Westchester County is fully committed to inclusive employment. We understand that the reentry process can be overwhelming and securing a steady job is an important part of reintegrating into the community. We are pleased to have many fair chance employers from across the County joining us for this important event.” Bridget Gibbons, Westchester County Director of Economic Development, said: “The Office of Economic Development is invested in connecting all residents to meaningful employment. The companies joining us for our job fair for the formerly incarcerated are all open to meeting new talent and employing individuals who are working through the reentry process.
