Two New Managing Attorneys Join the The Manely Firm, P.C. to Enhance the Estate Planning Branch!

The Manely Firm, P.C. is excited to announce two new Managing Attorneys joining the team, Managing Estate Planning Attorney Cherish De la Cruz and Managing Probate and Family Law Attorney Stephanie D. Banks. The Firm proudly practices family law, estate planning and probate cases and has the unique distinction of handling international family law cases all over the world. The Firm has offices located in Atlanta, Columbus, Cumming Marietta, Lawrenceville and Savannah; with offices in Charlotte, NC and London opening shortly. We currently have 13 attorneys fluent in a combined ten languages to serve clients.

Ms. Cherish De la Cruz officially joined the Firm in August 2023 in the role of Managing Estate Planning Attorney. Cherish received her undergraduate degree in Honors Sociology from the University of Western Ontario before going on to get her law degree at University of Iowa College of Law. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm through her past experience as a Public Defender, work in probate and small business law, and collaborative work with financial advisors and CPAs. Cherish also serves as a Board Member for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, The Women’s Collective, Catholic Foundation of North Georgia and Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Cherish is a Leadership Gwinnett member and voted 2018’s 25 Most Influential Asians.

Ms. Stephanie D. Banks officially joined the firm in August 2023 in the role of Managing Probate and Family Law Attorney. She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and then earned her law degree at The University of Alabama School of Law. Stephanie’s areas of practice include Probate, Trust, Fiduciary and Family Law Litigation. Her extensive past experiences include ten years of serving as the Administrative Hearing Officer for two Metro-Atlanta school districts, In-House Corporate Counsel to Georgia Power Company for Real Estate and Land legal services, Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator for Southern Company Services and the Affirmative Action program for six Southeast Region Subsidiaries of The Southern Company. Stephanie served as an Instructor at Miles College School of Law and is a classical vocalist and coloratura soprano.
