My favorite part about Spring is that we have so much sunlight. The days become longer and longer. I enjoy every minute. Everyone knows that I am a ray of sunshine. My personal theme song is “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves. I really can brighten up a room most days. This is one talent that I never had to study. It is an effortless part of who I am. This Spring, as I was celebrating the blessing of another birthday, I decided to use the Sun as my style inspiration. Bright colors are the trend for Spring but I do not usually wear yellow. I wanted to change that. I decorated my home with sunflowers and bought a new yellow dress. One thing was missing: yellow nails. I went to my local nail technician, Kim Gray of Slayed Paints, and browsed color choices. The Madam Glam options stood out. The “Mimosa” gel polish matched my dress perfectly and Kim slayed my natural nails mani-pedi. I was ready to step out! I stepped right out onto my patio and had a great time with my family at home. It was the perfect pandemic friendly celebration. I am so grateful to have completed another rotation around the Sun. My birthday wish is to have many more.
