Snoop Dogg aims to help children develop social and emotional skills with his new animated series, “Doggyland-Kids Songs and Nursery Rhymes.

Doggyland features a cast of 3-D animated and colorful dogs led by the main character and adult mentor, Bow Wizzle, who Snoop Dogg voices. “I’ve always wanted to create a kid-friendly series that lets kids be kids. As a longtime youth football coach. It’s important for me to build positive educational environments,” says Snoop.

The YouTube Kids series will discuss various topics. Including acceptance, diversity, and inclusion. With a focus on the positive social and emotional development of children eight years and younger.

“Doggyland- Kids Songs and Nursery Rhymes” is co-produced by Claude Brooks. The creator of the children’s franchise Hip Hop Harry. Claude says he and Snoop are “excited” to create a show to promote social, emotional, and cognitive learning in an innovative way.

“One of the things we are most proud of,” says Claude. “Is having age-appropriate songs about “Being Different,” Not Being A Bully,” and Good Manners.” Claude Brooks is hopeful these songs lead to “meaningful conversations” that help children be the best they can be.

Snoop Dogg has a long history of creating positive spaces for the youth. In 2005, the hip-hop icon founded the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL). The non-profit organization provides opportunities for inner-city children to play football. The SYFL teaches the value of teamwork, good sportsmanship, discipline, and self-respect. While also stressing the importance of academics. Since the start of the Snoop Youth Football League, several kids have gone on to play in D1 colleges and NFL.

For the 50-year-old father, grandfather, and  football coach, Doggyland is a place where kids can be kids and be “accepted.”

“That’s what these characters represent, diversity. So kids can learn to love each other from the beginning because hate is what’s taught. Love is what’s in their heart,” said Snoop.

Doggyland- Kids Songs and Nursery Rhymes” can be streamed on YouTube or YouTube Kids.
