Senior Services to offer free acting classes for older adults

Senior Services is offering free beginning acting classes open to adults who wish to become more comfortable and skilled at appearing on stage or speaking in front of a group. Classes will be conducted in studio style with participants reading monologues and participating in scene work with others. No memorization is required. 

The series of six classes will be moderated by Corlis Sellers, a local actress and board chair of 40+ Stage Company. She was recently seen in their production of “Raisin in the Sun.” 

Classes will be held on consecutive Thursdays at Senior Services, 2895 Shorefair Drive. Classes run from March 30 through May 4 from 11 a.m. to 12:30  p.m. Class size is limited.
