Reginald “Reggie” Thomas Simmons, age 81 of Cincinnati, passed away on January 17, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama.
A Public Visitation took place on February 4, 2023, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Quinn Chapel AME Church, 10998 Southland Drive Forest Park, Ohio 45240. This was followed up by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment took place at Dayton National Cemetery 4400 West 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45417.
Mr. Simmons was the beloved husband of his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Aurelia (Candie) Hudson Simmons. A pillar to the family as father, grandfather and great grandfather. Children, Karen Simmons Williams, and Michael Williams, 7 grandchildren, along with a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and gracious friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
