Preparing for back to school

Hello,my name is Joshua Jackson and some things I have been doing to get prepared for going back to school is getting in the habit of going to sleep earlier. During the summertime most students mess up their sleep schedule due to playing video games,binge watching shows,and scrolling through social media.

Changing my workspace and changing my working environment puts me in a good mood and helps me to be more productive with schoolwork. I’ve learned that cleaning your room and workspace helps to build self discipline and helps to create better habits when you go back to school. Another thing I’ve been doing lately is studying my courses so I won’t be as stressed out.

When I go back to school I plan on moving ahead and studying material a little bit each day so I won’t be stressed out for final exams. Eating a healthy breakfast is also good because it helps you to have more energy. When I go back to school I’ve decided to get good sleep, eat a healthy meal, wake up an hour earlier and have breakfast so I won’t be rushing, and while I’m in school I’ve decided to put four hours of my best effort into my school work.

Sometimes I put things off until later and have learned I have to work while I have the most energy. After school I’m usually tired and unproductive which is while I plan on utilizing my time in study hall during school. Setting goals is a good way to bring short term and long term motivation whenever you feel like you can’t accomplish something,usually whenever we accomplish a goal we make new ones and this helps to develop better habits.

Sometimes when something is hard and we fail we should look back at things we have accomplished and start to have self motivation and we start to believe in ourselves.What has helped me to feel motivated whenever I’m unmotivated is watching videos about how people change from unproductive to productive and I listen and take notes to see how they changed their lives around. The biggest thing is to believe in yourself and to keep pushing even when it’s hard because it’s going to be worth it in the end.
