ST. PETERSBURG
The City of St. Pete has set up three comfort and charging stations active today, Saturday, and tomorrow, Sunday. These locations may change next week as power is restored to affected areas.
St. Petersburg Comfort Stations, locations and hours:
Temporary Comfort and Charging Station Locations:
– Frank Pierce Recreation Center, 2000 7th St. S
– Childs Park Recreation Center, 4301 13th Ave. S
– Roberts Recreation Center, 1246 50th Ave. N
Hours:
– Saturday, Oct. 12: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
– Sunday, Oct. 13: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Available Supplies (while supplies last):
– Bottled water
– Battery packs
– Clean-up kits
– Storage bins
– Tarps

St. Petersburg has activated the Hometown Recovery Haulers Program to pay individual businesses to help pick up debris across the city. It will be limited to 100 trucks at $300 per load to the City’s debris site (at Raytheon, 1953 72nd St. N). Anyone interested in helping should email business@stpete.org.
