Former University of Michigan standout and current Cleveland Browns wide receiver, Donovan Peoples-Jones, will return to his hometown of Detroit to host a free youth football camp. The free youth football camp will take place at Cass Technical High School, located at 2501 2nd Ave in Detroit, will serve as the training ground.
Through his organization “Limitless Foundation,” Peoples-Jones will host the football camp Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. “It feels like I was attending a skills camp just yesterday intending to play in the NFL. I’m excited to launch my ‘Limitless Foundation’ to share my experiences and make an impact in my community that supported me’ said Peoples-Jones.
An expert coaching staff consisting of NFL and former collegiate players and Cass Tech coaches will guide students.
The camp is free and open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. In addition to football drills and concepts, the 150 campers will learn the importance of crucial life skills, the limitless pursuit of goals, and mental health. The day will conclude with contests, games, and awards. In addition, campers will receive a T-shirt, goodie bag, and box lunch provided by Jimmy Johns.
