Motivated Mondays: Ways to Build Your Confidence

You ever been in a place where you felt like you less than; worthless; a place where you felt you lacked “it” and you’re just not enough—whether that be after leaving a toxic relationship or ending a long term friendship or even feeling neglected by a parent or someone else that you love.

It happens. Life throws so many curveballs our way it can truly take a toll on our mind. The very things we expect to never happen happen right before our eyes. Thus life’s ups and downs send us on a rocky journey. Sometimes we find ourselves in a low place mentally and/or emotionally.

In these time we can begin to clutter our minds with negatives and unrealistic realities. We can begin to see ourselves in a negative way. We beat up on ourselves until we feel stuck.

Well, guess what. This week, we are walking in Power. We are walking in authority. We’re walking with grace and honor. You are special. VIP! There’s absolutely nobody like you.

No one can do what you do how you do it. Okay, maybe you took a loss at life right now but guess what? You woke up today, therefore your opportunities are infinite. What you used to do and who you used to be WILL NOT HOLD YOU BACK ANYMORE.

You may have been through the wringer but it’s time to get back in the ring. It’s time to fight for it. Fight for your happiness. Fight for your peace. Fight for your life.

How you speak to yourself from now on is what matters. Stop telling yourself you can’t because you can. It’s over for feeling like you’re hopeless. Pour that energy back into you. Take all those negative thoughts and create a life you love.

Here’s some ways to build your confidence and self esteem along the way:

  • Do things you enjoy
  • Look after yourself
  • Try something new
  • Focus on the positives
  • Act confident when you don’t feel it
  • Spend time with people
  • Learn to assert yourself
  • Be kind to yourself add. Recognise and challenge your unkind thoughts.

Now let’s rock this week!
