Motivated Mondays: Community Highlight with Grace Cole

Brianca Grace Beverly, aka Grace Cole, is a passionate natural hair lover, healthy hair advocate, and artist with a core competence in her signature holistic hair and scalp treatments, hair manageability, natural styles and hair maintenance. She is also the Owner and Creator of Queen’s Crown Essentials, a nourishing plant based hair care brand, from Milwaukee.

Grace has been on her journey since 2015 when she was fed up with her 9-5. She knew she was very ambitious and talented and she had an urge to help the communities. She always had a desire to heal and help heal other’s, which became her mission.

She provides healing through hair, mind, body and spiritual practices. Grace knows healing is imperative for our well being.

“If we’re dealing with stress, mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally, it weighs us down and prevents us from being our highest self,” she says. Grace believes if you focus on yourself and healing you feel better and operate at your best form.

“There’s nothing better than feeling good.”

Grace recently had her very first social networking event entitled Melanin Mixer. It was a purposeful and intentional networking event. It was formal but not so uniformed, in a sacred space. Her aim was for people of the community to get together and connect. It was not intended for blacks only; for it was open for Hispanics, Native Americans, and any other underrepresented community.

She had speakers of different expertise. They discussed business, finances, healing, and coaching. Her goal was for people to connect and see what others could do with them, not just for them.

My best of wishes goes out to grace for all the work that she does. We need more people in the city with a heart to heal and come together.
