Letter to Editor

Dear editor,

Texas Police spokesman says cops were reluctant to confront the gunman because “they could’ve been shot.” That is a bunch of B.S.!

Law enforcement officials shall at “All Times” fulfill the duty imposed upon them by law, by serving the community, and by protecting all persons (not just themselves) against illegal acts.

What do the police expect? Wait for the shooter to run out of ammo or just simply surrender?

The police should have let the parents go in to take the shooter instead of arresting them while their children were being slaughtered for one long hour.

There is only one word to describe the police’s response: COWARD.
