League Of Women Voters Of The Rivertowns To Sponsor a panel discussion, “SCOTUS Rethinks Choice, Guns, and Air Quality. Now What?”

The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns announces the next in its series Hot Topics, “SCOTUS Rethinks Choice, Guns, And Air Quality. Now What?” A panel of legal scholars will discuss the  rationale for recent Supreme Court decisions regarding reproductive choice, gun control, and clean air,  and the progress of implementation by the states.   The moderator is Mayo Bartlett, Esq., whose White Plains law firm’s practice has focused on criminal  defense and civil rights for more than 20 years. He was selected as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers. Working as a prosecutor with the Westchester County District Attorney’s  Office, he co-founded a youth law forum that brought issues of law and policy to the classroom. He  regularly appears on the media as a legal analyst and contributor.   Inga Caldwell, Esq., will cover the EPA decision. She is presently an associate with Cole Schotz P.C.  and an Adjunct Professor at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she teaches  Natural Resources Law and Water Rights Law.
