Flau’Jae Returns Home To Give Back

From Friday, July 28th to Sunday, July 31st, LSU basketball player and signed rapper Flau’jae Johnson visited her hometown of Savannah, Georgia, to give back to her community.

Her appearance was kickstarted with a parade from the Savannah Civic Center down Montgomery to 38th St. Park. Johnson then donated $10,000 to the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club on Friday. She wrote, “I grew up here, played on my first basketball team here, this place molded me to become the person I am today. Forever Grateful.”

A meet and greet was hosted on Saturday at the DTLR shoe store where Johnson met fans, and signed autographs. Moreover, on Sunday, her “Back 2 School Bash” was held at Lake Mayer. She gave out free school supplies and shoes to help students prepare for the 2023-2024 school year. She wrapped up by giving the crowd a huge performance. Thousands of fans turned out to welcome the Savannah native home.
