Senior Project Engineer
Port Authority is seeking a Senior Project Engineer Responsible for management of capital projects to maintain state of good repair of Authority buildings, light rail system, busways, park and ride lots, patron facilities and related infrastructure. Ensures projects adhere to the scope, budget, and schedule as well as interfaces with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholder representatives. Provides technical support for the maintenance and upkeep of various facilities/ equipment including building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance equipment.
Essential Functions:
•Performs all project management functions necessary to implement the design, construction and closeout of funded capital projects within established scope, schedule, budget and quality metrics. Provides guidance and assistance to Port Authority personnel on facilities design issues and activities pertaining to all capital projects. Provides support for state of good repair programs related to buildings, light rail systems, busways, park and ride lots, patron facilities and related infrastructure. (25%)
•Responsible to review drawings, specifications and contract provisions for compliance with Authority and outside agency requirements and standards in the preparation of construction and procurement documents. Reviews and coordinates drawings and specifications of facilities projects in consideration of the impacts related to operational facilities, systems and infrastructure. (20%)
Job requirements include:
•BS Degree, Major in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited school.
•Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in managing projects, including design and construction of job-related work.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Valid driver’s license in any state or commonwealth with ability to obtain PA driver’s license within sixty (60) days of employment.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows.
Preferred attributes:
•Experience in design and/or construction of mechanical equipment in facilities and and/or public infrastructure and systems.
•Registered Professional Engineer or Architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain such registration through reciprocity within one year of appointment.

Transit Police Officer

Essential Functions:
