If you haven’t heard my past articles I talked about my progression with the cats trying to get them inside the beds and getting them comfortable so they know they can come here anytime.
I bought the beds and they never slept in them which I never understood but when you look at their perspective and point of view you can understand because they needed time to adjust to this because this was never everyday life and they were born in the wild so they don’t know who didn’t to trust.I have had friends who would say to me that their friends are really chill and were so gullible at the time I fell into their trap and regretted it. One of my friends backstabbed me and then tried to accept his apology and then when I didn’t go with my Spidey-sense which is a feeling telling me not to accept him as a friend again and then I got stuck in the same hole.
My mom has told me to always go with the feeling because when you don’t most of the time you will regret it. There were certain things that messed with their trust level like feeding this one evil cat who I didn’t know was bothering the two kittens. I was trying to be nice and feed it because it looked really hungry and mom told me not to feed it. One of the kittens walked near the bowl the adult car was eating and it hissed and never fed him again. Both of the cats wouldn’t come inside the house after a while because they didn’t really know whether to trust us or not.
I put myself in their shoes as if my friend was friends with someone I don’t like and trying to convince me that they are a cool person and trying to make me befriend someone I don’t like or trust. Trust is something that is important and when you break it people don’t know what to believe when you break that. Nobody is perfect and you shouldn’t tell everything but it’s best to be honest with the people you trust and care about.
