Hello, if you have read my last article you would know that I have two kittens that visit me everyday. A few weeks ago at my Nana’s and Papa’s house this golden cat showed up and we have been feeding it leftovers and now food that we never planned on eating are fed to the cats. Now the golden cat brought its baby kitten and I feel like it’s my job to make sure it gets food and make sure it feels safe and that it has a place to stay. My Nana is going to buy cat food now so I decided to buy a cat house for my cats at my moms house and a cat house over my Nana’s house. Since I don’t come by her house except Sundays, I think this will be refreshing for her and give her something to do while she’s outside gardening. Ever since my Papa died last year we have seen Cardinals and now cats. It got me thinking that maybe those animals could be my ancestors watching over me, sounds crazy but I believe when people die they go to heaven but can also take the form of animals just to see how their family is doing when they are in need. I feel like heaven is a party because you get to see the people you love who have passed and have been dying to meet again. Whenever I think of my Papa’s passing I think of the “Lion King” and so me and my mom have this custom made Build a Bear that is supposed to be Papa and later on my mom found out the teddy bear could sing, and it sung “Hakuna Matata” from the movie “Lion King”and me and my mom were just in shock and felt that this God’s doing or Papa’s. I have learned that God works in mysterious ways because some things aren’t coincidental. One of my Papa’s quotes is that he would always tell me I’m too old of a cat to be fooled by a kitten. When he said these he meant I’m too old to be fooled by someone who’s younger because he is wise and has lots of experience.
