Carmel High School administration, BSA reach ‘positive resolution’

After a mixup with the redesign of the 2021 yearbook that excluded the Black Student Association (BSA), Carmel High School administration, Pinnacle staff and the BSA came to an agreement to create an insert page for the yearbook.

The insert includes the club photo, roster, achievements and impact BSA had on Carmel High School and will be mailed to students and families who purchased a yearbook.

“It seems like this was a legitimate mistake and they definitely took accountability in a responsible way,” said Kiah Jackson, a junior and BSA co-president.
