Nicole Lynn made headlines in 2015 for the first time. And again in 2019. Again in 2021. And again in 2023.
And who’s to say she won’t again?
The Tulsa Booker T. Washington Hig School and Oklahoma University alumna is now the president of football operations at Klutch Sports Group, with huge NFL names apart of her past and present client roster. This is only the beginning for the young entrepreneur, who is still building and climbing.
Here’s everything you need to know about Lynn, who led Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his all-female personal team into Super Bowl 57 and an NFL-record contract months later.
Who is Nicole Lynn?
Lynn, 34, studied law at Oklahoma while interning with the NFL Players’ Association (NFLPA).
Sports Illustrated reported that her initial goal was to become a financial advisor, and she got her start working on Wall Street. But she soon set her sights on becoming a sports agent. She wanted to be someone who could teach professional athletes and lead them towards financial success to prolong their careers on the field.
Lynn has had a lot of firsts in her career. She became the first female sports agent for PlayersRep in 2015. She was the first Black woman to represent a top-three NFL Draft pick in 2019. And she was the first Black woman to represent a player at the Super Bowl in 2023.
Lynn was hired by Klutch Sports Group in 2021 to lead football operations, and the company promoted her to president of the football division in April 2023.
She received her certification to also represent NBA players in 2020, and that same year, it was reported that 50 Cent was producing an untitled female sports agent drama television series for the streaming giant Starz, inspired by Lynn’s career. Black Film and TV said Lynn was going to serve as an executive producer on the project.
Nicole Lynn clients
Lynn represents several active NFL players, most notably Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Her role in shaping his career came into the spotlight when he led the Eagles to Super Bowl 57, and two months later she negotiated a reported five-year, $255 million contract extension for him.
Her other notable NFL clients include Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe, Giants offensive tackle Evan Neal, Browns offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, Vikings guard Ed Ingram, Cowboys linebacker Malik Jefferson, and Eagles defensive tackle Marvin Wilson.
She’s also working with top 2023 NFL Draft prospects Bijan Robinson and Will Anderson Jr.
Lynn first became famous at the age of 26 when she signed Quinnen Williams, Jets defensive tackle. He was a top-three pick in the 2019 Draft and has followed her for the last four years as she’s climbed the ladder and found home in new companies like Klutch Sports Group.
It seems he’s moved on to work with 1 of 1 Agency, a newly founded company headlined by six veterans who headed the division at Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports and PlayersRep Sports.
Hurts is listed on their website under the family section along with their other clientele.
In 2021, Sports Agent Blog shared a list of NFL players who joined her at Klutch Sports Group, which, other than those named already, included: Aaron Stinnie, Corey Nelson, Emeke Egbule, Erik Harris, James Crawford, Jordan Evans, McTelvin Agim, Ogbo Okoronkwo, Quincy Williams and Todd Davis.
