New Orleans is a GREAT place for a WEEKEND GETAWAY. Known most for entertainment, cuisine, and Mardi Gras, New Orleans is a lively location rich in culture and experience.

PLAN Your Stay

PLAN before arriving in New Orleans. There is so much to see and do in NOLA! Be sure to savour every moment by selecting destinations that your group of friends and family have been raving about! Three things we’d suggest helping your stay run smoothly would be:

• Making a list of desired activities
• Making a list of the restaurants
• Finding a nice spa for relaxation

Bring Your Walking Shoes

Be prepared to walk most of the time. New Orleans has the most unique culture in the United States and travelers love the city. The great food, music, and museums are only a few of NOLA’s main attractions that make the city so popular. Because it is such a packed travel destination, travelers usually prefer to walk around instead of driving to see everything that New Orleans has to offer.

One of the most common areas in New Orleans is The French Quarters. The French Quarters boasts an assortment of venues for shopping, amazing food, and the famous Bourbon Street for nightlife. Bourbon Street is in the heart of NOLA, with 13 blocks of entertainment, music, restaurants, and beautiful places to document your good time. Travelers come from all over the world just to get that experience. As such, you’ll get the most out of NOLA if you walk. SO, BRING YOUR WALKING SHOES.

Visit Places Outside of French Quarters

We all know that The French Quarters is on your list to visit when you travel to NOLA, but there are several other places to visit as well.

Here are three of our favorites:

• Dragon’s Den – Live performances
• Julia Street Art Walk
• The Broad Theater

Packing List

Traveling to New Orleans you want to make your PACKING LIST is on point.  From clothing to accessories and makeup.  You need to be prepared for anything.  The weather in New Orleans is very dry and hot.  Depending on the months traveled, need to check everything off the list.

Fashion:  When packing for New Orleans dress warm with beautiful dresses, shorts, tank tops, flip flops, etc.  Look your best when traveling.  Your will not regret it and your pictures will be beautiful.

Makeup/Face:  With the weather being hot during majority of the months throughout the year, I know that you want to look your best at a times for pictures.  Carry a small travel bag of small makeup items.
