Eastside Catholic point guard Nolan Hickman scored a game-high 36 points, including 4 three-pointers, as the Crusaders defeated O’Dea in a Metro League tournament semi-final game.

Eastside Catholic went on a 17-2 run in the first quarter and never looked back as they went into the half with a 52-35 lead, en route to a 85-62 win.

With the win, Eastside Catholic will face the winner of the Garfield-Ingraham semi-final matchup, while O’Dea will face the loser.

Shane Nowell finished the game with 16 points, while teammate JT Tuimoloau chipped in 15 points for Eastside Catholic.  Paolo Banchero led the Fighting Irish of O’Dea with 31 points. Banchero knocked down 3 three-point shots and hit 16 of 19 shots from the free throw line.
